Dear Valued Resident and Neighbor,
 

Something special is happening on the shores of Lake Havasu. For over six decades, the property formerly known as Crazy Horse Campgrounds has been a fixture on the Island. It is an iconic piece of land, but for too long, it lacked the vision and care it truly deserved.

I am writing to you today not just as the new leaseholder of this property, but as a fellow resident.
 

My connection to this land goes back to the 1960s when I started coming here as a child. For many years, we rented the exact same RV site, building a lifetime of memories. Because I fell in love with this shoreline, I eventually purchased a handful of park models over the years. However, as time went on, I grew increasingly frustrated with the lack of customer service, maintenance, and basic care this legendary property was receiving. A couple of years ago, I reached a turning point. I realized this location simply deserved better. I had a decision to make: either sell my piece of the lake and walk away, or step up and fix the property myself. Because I have always seen the incredible potential of this land, I chose the latter, and I reached out to the State Land Department to negotiate taking over the lease.
 

My professional roots are built on decades of executive leadership and development. Before transitioning into high-end construction, I spent nearly 20 years building an industry-leading cabinet manufacturing business, earning a spot on the Inc. 500 list while being nominated for Ernst & Young's prestigious Entrepreneur of the Year award three consecutive years. Through that journey, and my long-standing involvement in the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO), I learned that the difference between a good operation and a legendary one comes down to uncompromising standards and exceptional customer care. Today, as a Master Builder and General Contractor specializing in extraordinary luxury custom homes—and as the developer behind a signature riverfront project currently in motion in Parker—my team and I spend our time executing projects where every detail matters. When I looked at this property, I didn’t just see an ordinary campground; I saw a premium waterfront resort that deserved the exact same uncompromising standards that have defined my entire career.

Today, I am proud to announce our official leasehold of the property for the next 10 years. Moving forward, we will be known as Red Rock Waterside.

PROTECTING THE STANDARD AND YOUR INVESTMENT
 

To establish Red Rock Waterside as the premier vacation resort on the Island, we are immediately implementing our new Red Rock Standard: Guest Experience Policies, which are linked here for your review.  Because I have lived here, I know exactly why these guidelines are necessary. They were written to protect your peace, secure your property values, elevate the community's image, and eliminate the disruptions of the past.
 

As part of this new standard, one of our first major initiatives will be a community-wide site cleanup. We will be working with all residents to clear away clutter and update site exteriors. While we know change requires an adjustment, these collective efforts will immediately improve the aesthetic of your retreat and protect the value of your investment.
 

Life on the lake is best enjoyed with family and friends. As Red Rock Residence owners, you enjoy the exclusive benefit of hosting personal visitors at your home at no charge. We only ask that your guests register at the entrance gate upon arrival for community security. Please note that if your visitors plan to launch a watercraft on-site, standard day pass fees apply for boat launching and trailer parking.
 

A BRAND NEW RESIDENT PORTAL & PAYMENT SYSTEM
 

As part of our commitment to bringing Red Rock Waterside up to modern, professional standards, we are transitioning away from old payment methods and introducing a secure, convenient Resident Client Portal. Moving forward, all monthly site agreements, utility payments, and account management will be handled directly through this portal. To ensure a seamless transition and avoid any disruption to your account, please complete the following steps:
